@chickenmouche @Scara_moucheee You're acting on the premise that I'm trying to steal other people's work? I'm creating unique images and I'm definitely not trying to pass them off as someone else's work? I'm learning about the math and expressing it with an image, you're projecting.
@chickenmouche @Scara_moucheee It takes a lot longer than a couple of minutes to train a model, I don't think you understand how it works. Art is a social commentary, and it's more than just illustration. I'm not stealing anything from anyone, I haven't used work I don't have permission to train with.
@chickenmouche @Scara_moucheee Because it is digital art? Art is social commentary, and the topic of AI art is contentious. Training a model off of work I have permission to use isn't stealing, and you can't copyright a style. They take impressions from the resources supplied, they're unique works not copies.
@dewdropayato @tiredmir1 I'm learning about Machine Learning and thought I'd do it with a character I like and share it with other people that like him. I'm celebrating his upcoming release not selling copies of other people's work.
@dewdropayato @tiredmir1 I trained my own model using a the 3d model from in game. I haven't used other people's art to train with nor have I claimed their work as my own. Training from other people's work is fine, if they consent, it's taking the same inspiration as I would had I hand drawn it in PS.
@chickenmouche @Scara_moucheee I'm learning about ML and thought I'd do it with a character I like and share it with other people that like the character. I'm not trying to steal work, and frankly it's quite presumptuous to think so. AIs are an interesting concept and a tool that illustrators use frequently.
@L05TL1GHT There are many methods, but I use Stable Diffusion, which starts with white noise and slowly changes the pixels until it starts to resemble the material it was trained on or the tags it was fed. I'm running a model locally and trained it off of a 3d model. I can share more
