I did some math this week and it honestly shocked me.
Imagine you had ₦100,000 in 2016.
Back then, that was about $500.
If you left that ₦100,000 sitting in a savings account in naira, inflation and devaluation have quietly eaten it. Today, that same ₦100,000 is only worth about $73.
But what if you had put that $500 into dollar assets instead?
The naira has moved from ₦199/$1 to over ₦1,360/$1.
That crash hurts if your money is in naira.
But it helps if your money was already in dollars.
Here’s what that $500 would look like today if it went into some of the most talked-about stocks and assets:
If you bought NVIDIA, your ₦100,000 would be worth about ₦96 million today.
Bitcoin?About ₦91 million.
Even AMD would have turned it into ₦42 million.
The big names did well too.
Eli Lilly: ₦27M.
Tesla: ₦16M.
Apple: ₦8.4M.
Microsoft: ₦6.4M.
Amazon: ₦4.6M.
And it wasn’t just tech.
The "boring" stuff still won.
The S&P 500 would have turned ₦100k into ₦2.8M.
Gold would have turned it into ₦2.2M.
JPMorgan would have turned it into ₦2.9M.
The point isn’t that you should have predicted NVIDIA 10 years ago.
Nobody did.
The point is this: a diversified portfolio with USD backed assets grew and got a shield from the naira’s decline at the same time. So we aren’t saying don’t invest in Naira, we are saying hold a diversified portfolio.
You can’t go back and invest in 2016.
But you can decide what you do with your money in 2026.
If you want to learn how to start building a portfolio with dollar exposure the same kind of exposure that protected and multiplied wealth over the last decade

We wanted to answer a simple question:
If you followed their bets exactly, would you make money?
The answer is no.🧵👇

one thing that has given me an edge over most people , financially, is my ability to not follow trends.
“…made 20 million dollars from this trade” all the best to them.
“…did 2000x on this coin, in 10 minutes” wow, that’s nice.
At my own convenience, when i must have finished resting, backtesting, going on a hiatus, testing, reflecting, etc. I will make my own money.
i have come to realize that trends are other people’s reality, not mine. it happened in their timeline to create whatever trend it must have been.
when I’m due for one, I will make it happen in my own timeline. and it too, shall become a trend.

Learn to be comfortable with money sitting still.
Most people spend the moment they receive. The moment your account looks full, something must be bought, something must be celebrated.
Train yourself to do nothing with money.
Let it sit. Let it accumulate. Let it feel boring.
Getting rich and staying rich are opposite skills.
Getting rich takes optimism, risk and conviction.
Staying rich takes paranoia, humility and the willingness to look like a coward.
Most people who hit it big go broke because they keep using the skill that made the money to try to keep it, know which game you’re playing.
Money isn’t a separate game from life. It’s just the most measurable form of patience.
If you can’t be patient, no income will save you. If you can, no setback will end you.
If you’ve been stuck on how to start YouTube automation…

Enough heads have spun over this and enough think pieces written so let me share and educate once again.
I shared Echo and Legion and Coinlist over a year ago on here and our free, educative crypto channel https://t.co/1mtFICKX7h
Most people are reactive, not proactive, they lack patience, barely have foresight and are simply reactionary.
So let me break down how this whole thing actually works and where you can participate. (NFA)
What is an ICO?
A crypto project needs money to build. They sell tokens early at a low price. Early investors get in cheap. If the project succeeds, those tokens explode in value.
The problem? For years only VCs and insiders had access. By the time regular people found out, insiders were already cashing out at your expense.
These platforms exist to fix that and give regular people access 👇🏼
Some of such Platforms:
1) @echodotxyz
Think AngelList for crypto. A credible lead investor finds a deal, opens a pool and you co-invest alongside them at the exact same early price. You’re essentially getting VC-level access with retail-sized capital. Requires KYC via email, wallet and X account.
2) @legiondotcc
No lead investor needed here. Your own reputation earns your allocation. The platform scores your wallet history, on-chain activity and crypto credibility. Better score, better access. Legion also collaborates with Kraken Launch to offer credit-based access.
3) @CoinList
The OG. CoinList has a strong track record including early raises for Solana, Filecoin and Ondo, with 21 sales in 2025. No platform token required to participate but expect KYC, regional restrictions and competitive sale formats.
4) @Polkastarter
A long-running launchpad founded in 2020 with over 140 funded projects. Access is tiered based on how much POLS token you hold. More POLS, better allocation priority. Multi-chain support.
5) @Buidlpad
Emphasizes KYC-driven community participation. One thing to know, these raises are heavily oversubscribed. Someone committed $5,000 to one raise and only received $270 allocation, with the rest refunded. Manage expectations accordingly.
Now the honest part.
I have personally invested over $20k across these platforms and lost most. Most ICOs don’t make it. Teams disappear or dump at launch. You can lose everything. (I MEAN IT)
Before you move:
•Research who is leading the investment
•Check how long team tokens are locked
•Verify the fully diluted valuation makes sense
•Look for real product usage before the token even exists
•Never rely on one source of information
I’ve been sharing solid calls since 2019. BTC at $3K. BNB under $20 to $1,000. ETH below $100, $TSLA under $25 and so much more. All shared here and all changed thousands of lives.
None of that was luck. It was patience and conviction most people don’t have. I’ve also had my fair share of losses, the market can be brutal and unforgiving especially when you think yourself invincible.

Before you invest, make sure you have enough food at home. 👍🏻
This was literally my situation lol. My advice is keep trading until u get momentum, IF you ever get momentum do not stop trading its likely to just be only up, after my first 1k trade it was 2k then 5k then 10k etc. Learn how the game works first by watching and taking a mental note of why coins are running/whats the narrative and once you understand it fully grasp it and grind
now for the part most people won’t talk about; NOT GOING BACK TO ZERO.
although it’s more of a warning than an advice as a lot of you will still do what you have in mind but here goes nothing…
inasmuch as a lot of you won 8 figures in naira, and when converted to usdt, might not be much…it is very important you don’t go back to zero.
forget tweeps with brain rot rhetorics. 10 million, 15 million, etc. Is enough to set up you for life if you are sensible person, provided you don’t;
* give back to sport with hope of making the money x2, x3, etc:
* prioritize needs before wants.
* don’t let the euphoria of having your first milli cloud your judgment of financial stability.
* do not attempt to make investments in things that won’t give you passive income.
* avoid land purchase and car purchases except you got up to 50 meter, then maybe get that car.
* avoid attempting to solve all preexisting family problem(s) and the ones to come. na money you win, you never really arrive.
* if you must, take 2-3 days off and think well before making stupid decisions that only makes sense in your head.
* if it’s not much on you, after setting up yourself, set up a small business for your dad or mom, if they don’t have any- you will understand why when things don’t go well later.
* give your girlfriend space for some days while you plan your life. she doesn’t deserve to know you hit that jackpot.
8 figures in naira is a decent amount of money to never go broke again…but the euphoria of it being your first win might tell you otherwise,
be wise. it may not happen to you again.
yagazie. 🖤
fastest way to go from zero → hero:
- stop caring about everyone's opinions: be selective of what you take in as advice.
- grind everything you touch like it’s your only shot.
- pick up a skill: free classes, materials and when you make money if a class is worth it, pay. YouTube is there too.
- contribute to projects early: visibility > money at the beginning, exposure compounds.
- enter contests & bounties: you gain visibility, more reps and pow, and sometimes wins too.
- chase WLs smartly: show value, but don’t move like you’re a beggar.
- post consistently: disappearing resets your progress, consistency multiplies it
- build in public: let your work speak before results arrive
- stack small wins daily: compounding will always beat motivation
do all of this long enough and people will swear you “blew up overnight” 😭
even better if you can do all of them at once, which sounds stressful, because it is 😭
being peaceful doesn’t mean you’re weak.
if for anything, it means you’ve been in a lot of fights for you to know the outcome.
for one to be at peace, you must have foremost, been at war.
that’s why the quietest ones are often the most dangerous.
