@CurtisPashelka It makes sense that he would get a gauge on the asking price and contract desires, that’s just good business. But I can’t see a world where the price is cheap enough that the sharks should pull the trigger
@erc95 It makes more sense if you look at the entire voting results. There is now a massive gulf between BYU and Michigan state (about 150 points, the biggest difference in consecutive spots). The gap between Nebraska and BYU is only 43 points. So basically 8 through 11 is a toss up.
@CurtisPashelka This is why Misa’s development is critical for the franchise in the next few years. The sharks need a dynamic second line to support Celebrini. Guys like Eklund help, but it starts with the center. Not saying Wennberg is bad, I like him a lot. But we need more.
BYU, Bama, JMU and Duke winning next week could lead to a scenario where no ACC teams or Notre Dame make the playoffs, but 2 G5 teams do. #ChaosTimeline
@Mzandthropic@espn I think they’d be more in the Miami-Utah 2 loss bubble (before today) if they didn’t play Ohio St. That Florida loss and their road record is still gonna stick out. You’re right on one thing - they need to encourage those non-conference matchups more.
@FloridaFedParty@Johnudaan44@espn I’m not sure how that gets us to 7 bad teams, but sign me up for the chaos that would ensue with Auburn winning. This year is already off the rails for the committee, let’s just blow it all up.
@Mzandthropic@espn The only reason Texas might not make the playoff is because they lost to Florida. Let’s not get it twisted. That’s a BAD loss and one a playoff team shouldn’t have.
