Hey! I do more than just tweet, i stream! Catch me over at https://t.co/mPq0p1fz5z every weekday at 9am GMT for some gaming goodness. (Streaming hours vary depending on game!)
@BULLETSYMPHONY I don't think (or hope) I'm ever going to abandon the hobbies i have that have carried over from my childhood, some of it gives my life happiness, so if i give that up, that can't possibly be good. There's no need to ever abandon the things that give you joy and happiness!
@bigguyspongeboo@ThatTallGuy02 Maybe you haven't found games you enjoy? My game tastes are all over the place and i find myself enjoying stuff as simple as cod zombies and as complex as dark souls (not that dark souls is complex, but the two audiences are very contrasting)
@bigguyspongeboo@ThatTallGuy02 Haha it's all good! You're not wrong either anyways, things are, unfortunately, not as cheap as they used to be. Every time a steam sale comes on for a game i want, i am immensely grateful
@bigguyspongeboo@ThatTallGuy02 Yknow what, might be right. Just remembered that black ops is available on steam lmao, i was just calling back to what me and keegster were talking about a few days ago, whoops!
@TheMilSimGuy08 Because its about ease of access and the ability to play games you love on a modern console, not everything is about throwing a new coat of paint on it, sometimes the way it came out was the best it was, and people want that on there PS4/PS5.
@ThatTallGuy02 Emulating a game? Easy peasy, anyone can do it. Emulating the experience of what it was like to play it the day it came out? With the comforts it provided? Not so much.
@ThatTallGuy02 To make that happen. So if the og post was being honest about how *tedious* it is to emulate *that* aspect, I'd be more inclined to agree. But instead its got a "let people enjoy things" mentality to it without addressing the main issue
@ThatTallGuy02 Pretty sure i was emulating pokemon games around that time too, its not rocket science. I can certainly say from my point of view that I'd rather play games the way they were intended, and emulators *only* emulate the game, not the enviroment, time, place and technology
@ThatTallGuy02 That said, i definitely agree that people blow the "difficulty" of it WAY out of proportion, its not hard in the slightest, just time consuming and *slightly* tedious
@ThatTallGuy02 For me personally, i just think emulating is a chore and something I'd rather not do to get it all setup, sometimes its about wanting to relive it based on the way you did as a kid, but not having access to the tech that made it work, no modern ports as well just makes it worse.
@YaboyNathanHD Oh yeah, for sure. I still can't believe they said that lmao, how do you write something like that on a CORPORATE ACCOUNT and expect that to end well??
Either this got misinterpreted bigtime and they were trying to say "Pepperoni Passion - Pepperoni = Just Passion" Or Dominos fucked up MASSIVELY with hiring Social Media posters
@ThatTallGuy02 Nowadays it's like a 5/95 split and it'll more than likely be less than that once BO7 is over. Don't think i'll be getting a new treyarch cod ever again if some major shakeups aren't made in the industry.
@ThatTallGuy02 when i was younger i was only good at a small handful of games, because my COD to any other game ratio was like a 70/30 split. Funnily enough, the further away i got from COD, the better i got at other games, and abandoning Multiplayer for Zombies was the best choice i ever made.
