@transscribe @robmcd85 It's very unraveling for someone with PTSD to encounter an unexpected trigger in a perceived safe space. It can trigger a fight-or-flight that can't be understood unless you've been there.

But playing Devil's advocate, perhaps these women object to the presence of 'people bearing penises' (whether they id as male or female) not bc theyre bunged up, selfish prisses, but perhaps bc they've suffered trauma that's being triggered.
