Today, I lost my best friend and wife, Roxanne Benton . I love her with every ounce of my being and she passed away next to me holding her hand. She passed peacefully and quietly, which is how I knew she would.

She was an incredible mother, wife and friend. She was the most generous, sweet hearted person I know and she made me a better person and husband and I am forever changed by being with her for 17 years.

I haven’t shared much on Twitter/X but Roxy was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, only months after we moved to Reno. I did one Facebook post about it but removed it because she wanted privacy through her battle. That’s who she was, a very private person and didn’t want to burden others with her struggles. So it’s also why I didn’t discuss it on social media.

She fought HARD for 3 years, through many ups and downs that are even hard to explain in one post. She went through hell on earth, to put it bluntly. I was at every doctor appointment, emergency room visit and hospital stay. And I would do it all again to be there for her.

She will be greatly missed but I am grateful to our Lord that she is no longer struggling or in pain. She has been healed… fully.

I love you Roxy and we will see you again… ❤️

If a mosquito bites you, heat a metal spoon under hot tap water (not scalding) and press it gently onto the bite for 10-20 seconds. The heat can denature the proteins (like anticoagulants) left by the mosquito that trigger your immune reaction and histamine release, which cause the itching and swelling.

15 minutes of complaints about government, inflation, and how "rich people don't understand the struggle."

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮:
Lady approaches me: "Kenny, I've been following your content. I'm scaling my business from ₦2 million to ₦20 million this year. What's your biggest growth insight?"

15 minutes of strategy discussion, opportunities, and expansion possibilities.

𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆.

That night, I made a decision that will offend 90% of people reading this:

Whenever I'm meeting new people, 𝐼 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑎𝑏𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒, 𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑤𝑡ℎ, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦.

The result? Big opportunities started coming in left, right and center.

Cashflow increased by over 100X in 12months.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲:
Your brain is constantly absorbing the dominant conversations around you.

Spend time with people discussing problems → Your brain focuses on problems
Spend time with people discussing solutions → Your brain focuses on solutions

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 #1:

Energy is transferable and it does not need your hotspot on before it connects to your brain.

Broke people don't just lack money. They lack the thinking that attracts abundance.

And abundance thinking is contagious in both directions.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
I don't avoid broke people because I'm better than them.
I avoid broke energy because I'm protecting my wealth mindset.

Rich people talk about opportunities.
Middle-class people talk about other people.
Broke people talk about obstacles.

I choose to be around people discussing opportunities.

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 #2:

Some of you reading this are the broke energy I'm avoiding.

You're the ones leading conversations with complaints.
You're the ones explaining why things won't work.
You're the ones bringing limitation energy to every interaction.

Stop engaging in conversations about:
❌ How hard business is
❌ Why the economy is bad
❌ How expensive everything has become
❌ Why certain strategies won't work
❌ How unfair life is

Start engaging in conversations about:
✅ Growth opportunities you're exploring
✅ Strategies that are working
✅ Markets you're excited about
✅ Solutions you're developing
✅ Success stories you're creating

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁:
Your income is the average of the conversations you have daily.

If your daily conversations are about struggle, your income will reflect struggle.
If your daily conversations are about success, your income will reflect success.

I'm not avoiding broke people to be mean.
I'm avoiding broke thinking to stay wealthy.

There's a difference.
