It gives everyone a shared sense of purpose - they know where they're headed.

Without it, you're just hoping things work out.

Focus on the process, not the outcome.

It's your daily habits, actions, and process that drive results.

3: Discipline to Execute
Nick Saban defines discipline as:
"Doing what you're supposed to do, when you're supposed to do it, the way it's supposed to get done."

You have to have the daily discipline to do what it takes.
