@purrngel Oh but that doesn’t mean you have to keep doing it to maintain. You do not. It’s great to get you there, but then obviously you shouldn’t keep doing the fasts like that
My original answer was deleted because someone reported it as harmful.
Look, I might have an I ED which means I take it too far for myself, because I can BUT what I recommended wasn’t harmful at all. People are having a hard time losing fat because they’re addicted to food and don’t know how the body works. Our bodies are literally made to fast every now and then, that’s you stay healthy and lean. To make it short. Rolling fasting means eating a meal, and then fasting again. Basically back to back fasting. Either skipping one day or two. If you nourish and hydrate yourself this is neither dangerous nor unhealthy or harmful. If you are a low body fat individual obviously you shouldn’t do anything extreme to get even lower in body fat because there will be repercussions.
But rolling fasts are the key for rapid and sustainable fat loss if you know what you’re doing
This means you fast for let’s say 72 hours, eat for like an hour or two and then fast again. So back to back. The most important thing, don’t be too strict with it. If it’s 65 it’s 65 if it’s 60 it’s 60, whatever. Being too strict thinking you mustn’t eat is what sets you up for failure and lead to binge. Eat a good meal (depending on where you stand body fat wise, at least 1000 kcal) skip a day or two and eat again.
If you’re already low body fat you shouldn’t do more than skipping one day (so rather rolling/back to back 48 hours) if you’re high body fat, you can do 72 easy. And again, don’t mind the hours too much. Rather think of it as eating 1 nourishing meal, skip a day or two, eat again.
@Betonraucher030@EaudeJaveline@maeniacals Ah, I see. This thread was shown to me in English, that’s why I replied in English.I wasn’t aware the original question was written in German.
@EaudeJaveline@maeniacals This is highly triggering for someone recovering from an ED because it’s already hard enough to accept the changes in your body, to accept the fact that you’re eating more etc. this would cause many to relapse especially since he repeats himself like that
@maybellinaa I just don’t think it’s that inconsiderate because being fat mostly is a choice? (Very few times it isn’t) Like I get the part about wondering if it’s even necessary to complain about it to begin with but just because someone is fat doesn’t automatically mean you can’t feel fat
@raiinyboots being lowered etc.
Your body is smart and efficient, it’s just trying to save energy.
Up you kcals, make your body feel safe and you’ll keep losing
@raiinyboots Depends on how long you’ve been there
Depending on your current height and weight go up to at least 1100-1300 kcal and watch the scale drop
If you go to low you hold onto water weight due to high levels of cortisol and you end up burning less. Thermogenesis is
