🎭Exciting day for our Year 8s as they delve into three Gothic tales brought to life by acclaimed writer/director Justin Butcher, performed by experienced professional actor Rupert Mason, with music and sound design by Theatre, TV and Film composer Jack C Arnold.
Today our Year 10 students were mesmerised by a one man performance by @TheatreRedheart of Dr Jeykll and Mr Hyde, which they are studying for their English Literature GCSE. It was an amazing dramatisation, full of atmosphere and very engaging.
This morning, Year 10 watched a performance of Mr Owen’s Pocketbook, which superbly encapsulated WWI sentiment, from jingoistic fiendish patriotism, sardonic criticism and a final sense of futility. This piece will inspire their next piece of imaginative writing - we can’t wait!
