WOOOOOO! I got my steam machine today. I’ll admit the price is a bit steep, but it’s well worth it. I’ve been using it for the whole day and I probably will play most games on it now.
@Steam this thing is awesome and you guys did a fantastic job, Genuinely might need to buy a frame next.
Genuinely I don’t understand people who think this is bad. Once when I had pneumonia my switch was basically my only relief. My lungs hurt just breathing, my medicine tasted awful, I was hot and unable to even get out of bed for days.
If I wasn’t allowed to use my switch at all I genuinely think I’d have just wanted to die. If you’re sick there’s no reason to make yourself more miserable.
Here's a controversial gaming question inspired by me being ill recently...
If you're genuinely too sick to work, is it acceptable to play video games while recovering? 🎮
I think it depends on the game and how you're feeling.
Is it harmless relaxation or taking the piss?
@justjapex_ And if I have to choose between an upscaled resolution with a locked 30. Or a higher internal resolution with a shaky 60? The former wins every time
@justjapex_ No. Fire emblem games have basically always run like this. It’s not some run and gun game, it’s a turn based strategy game. 30fps isn’t really gonna matter.
@ChrisHa24052572 My dad is 45, I’m 19. He introduced me to Nintendo and we both had giant smiles when we played starfox on my switch 2. Genuinely don’t understand how an argument like this can exist
@sixerssin7@enlightenserf@QuemMittam@geoffkeighley Except for the 26 million ESO members, 23 million fallout 76 players, and 14 million people who bought starfield. not to mention the countless more on gamepass.
@sixerssin7@enlightenserf@QuemMittam@geoffkeighley So ignore reality 😭 that making another game takes time, then having a global pandemic slow down the whole industry, then still somehow make TES6 in 5 years while also doing 2 fallout games an elder scrolls online game and starfield? Be real bro 😂
@enlightenserf@QuemMittam@geoffkeighley I’ve never understood this. They’ve worked in other stuff since Skyrim, then take in to account normal internal delays and then covid 🤷 it’s not like they’ve just been twiddling their thumbs the whole time.
