Built in 1904 for the 2ft 3in Penwyllt Silica Brick Co. Ltd, Tattoo W/N 859 Gwendolen worked the quarries atop their incline until closure in 1939. Sought by the Talyllyn for spares, it wrecked itself attempting to be brought down the incline & was scrapped onsite in May 1954.
