Logger and former president of the Maine senate Troy Jackson has announced he's entering the race for the U.S. Senate, just moments after Democratic nominee Graham Platner suspended his campaign amid allegations he has denied.
Jackson says he's "all in" and vows to take on Sen. Susan Collins, calling himself a fighter for Maine's working families.
Susan Collins is lying through her teeth. Roe v. Wade was not overturned 6-3. That is a lie. It was 5-4. Roberts specifically said he did not support overturning Roe.
Brett Kavanaugh was the deciding vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.
And Susan Collins was the deciding vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court.
Ken Paxton has won the Republican nomination for US Senate in Texas and will face James Talarico in November.
Paxton was impeached by his own party for bribery and corruption, said the Uvalde school shooting was โGodโs plan,โ and offered a child rapist a 1-day jail sentence.
yโall genuinely have to lock in this year no discourse no ironic homophobia no dumb shit we gotta uplift the community and especially trans people right now
I donโt know if people understand that what the Trump regime is doing is historic. They are looting the treasury right in front of our eyes as they collapse the economy and start illegal wars of aggression. The corruption is so severe and brazen that it truly boggles the mind to take it all in.
Voters in Utah and everywhere else have been clear they don't want data centers. If they are being built in your area it's because your local politicians are being paid to ignore what you think.
๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ Big time shenanigans going on in UTAHโผ๏ธ
Utah speaker of the house Mike Schultz owns hundreds of acres of land right near the Stratos data Center siteโผ๏ธ
THIS IS JOURNALISMโผ๏ธ
In case it is not clear. I believe we MUST pass a mid-decade redistricting and gerrymandering ban. Along with increasing the number of members in the house. It is the only way to end this endless cycle.
Only in America can a Canadian billionaire waltz into a drought-ridden state on the verge of ecological collapse and get a massive data center campus rubber-stamped with huge tax breaks. Zero local input. But made possible by the bought and paid for government!
And they should be pissed, they just sold the future of this state for a gigantic data center. Every single state leader who has played a role in this should be removed from office, and I mean all the way up to the Legislature and the Gov.
Utah's corruption is off the charts.
This has very little to do with the County Commission. Attention on them is misdirection.
The @UtahGOP & @GovHerbert passed MIDA in 2017, allowing the state to preempt any local zoning ordinance.
The GOP / @SpencerJCox -appointed MIDA board then approved @kevinolearytv's private company as a "strategic industry project" that fit into expanded MIDA guidelines.
The party of "small govt", just came in and used govt authority to pick a market winner, increase pollution, sap local resources, raise grid prices, and ignore the will of local inhabitants.
Blaming the County is like blaming the cashier for price gouging at your grocery store.

As soon as they said "we cut this great deal with O'Leary so even if the legislature tries to screw us over we'll still profit" it was obvious this was a done deal and they weren't interested in hearing from constituents. The big lobbyists did their jobs.
They packed a fairgrounds full of constituents, heard the boos, heard the chants, and voted yes anyway. That's not representation. That's contempt. The destruction of Utah's land is not inevitable. It is a choice, made by specific people, with names and ballots attached to them.
This didn't happen to Utah, it was done to Utah. By elected officials. Who can be replaced. Remember their names. Remember their votes. Make sure everyone you know does too.
