Yah, this was not unexpected. Although I can’t say I’m entirely happy about this change.

As many of you who have followed my posts for a while, I’ve kinda checked out from DC Comics and the character of The Spectre as a whole.

They just haven’t really given me anything to like.

@DCsDoctorFate Well it depends on what one considers “evidence”, but there are non-biblical sources that to varying degrees mentions Christ I.e Tacitus, Josephus, and The Talmud etc. Many Scholars today agree he existed.

The Resurrection claim does rely more on tradition and reason.

@AtcArmando Yah, The Spectre not being able to hurt GL is okay. GL hurting The Spectre is odd to me.

Should just be able to take a hit, dodge or merely let it phase through him.

@EricTheHeretic Yah, there’s no doubt that religion plays a part in the story, I think it’s mirrored well with flashbacks with his Father and conversations with Father Craemer.

In this day and age, in feels like many stories do with the “religion bad” route when it comes up in stories.

Mr Terrific being in #Superman gives me hope that #TheSpectre and/or Jim Corrigan will appear in movie form one day.

Not a ton of hope, but a little.

@MegaRed Yah, there are points in time where Corrigan had a “new body”. Although, in Ostranders run, so of the stuff from the 80s was retconned. It was all a trick/scheme from Madame Z. (Issue #7)

Corrigan is The Spectre/Aztar or The Spectre is Corrigan. DC ignores this😔
