@SarahisCensored@drsuffy For humankind looking out at the constellations we are looking at a <0.002% (the alleged time humans have been in the universe) snapshot of the sky, so it may appear as if nothing is changing, but truly we just have not been around long enough to view the different snapshots 2/2
@SarahisCensored@drsuffy This actually is a very good question, what we have to realize is the time from Mayan civilization to present day (~4k years ago) is practically the exact same instant in time when compared to the 13.7billion “age” of age of universe. 1/2
Happy Birthday Bitcoin! 🥳
15 years ago today someone using the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" gave us a peer-to-peer method of electronic payments.
This method was intended to cut out the third party financial institutions and give the power to the people.
Though ENS has taken away the privacy aspect of our public keys (for Ethereum users), it’s still important to remember the intent of it all and how cryptocurrencies all started.
Without Bitcoin, none of us would be in this space.
If you haven’t already take some time to check out the Bitcoin white paper from 2009 and see how it all started:

@cd_theguy@ArtOfDialogue_ Yea Genghis Khan, but his point stands. Genocide in the Americas totally wiped out cultures, languages,& traditions and left groups of people with nothing to go back to pre-genocide times. Even those conquered by the Mongols were allowed to continue practicing their own traditions
