My son came out as transgender. When @lxgino came to my school, they signed my copy of George and made it out to who I thought was my daughter. Now I have a copy of a book with a transgender main character made out to his dead name. I hope I can get it fixed after the pandemic.

@lxgino This will definitely help as I have changed the focus of my paper from challenged/banned children's books to heteronormative indoctrination in children.
@lxgino I don't know if you remember me from Fresno State, but I was hoping to get your permission to use some of the things you said in your talks in my LGBT lit paper. I especially liked your coffee and tea analogy.
@lxgino Thanks for this. I had to watch the beginning twice to realize you weren't talking about my class when the student asked, "What's transgender?" I did, however, notice when you were mispronouned on stage just before the signing session.
