@dannyjnwong Why have they done this to the pay scales and additionally made associated differential pay rises. Have yet to see explanation for who these changes benefit, either in terms of cost to government or retaining and attracting Doctors

Can't attend @RCoANews #EGM as I'm on call. Only one observation. Our charter is to promote highest POSSIBLE standards. Not highest convenient standards. AA expansion & shunting juniors across the country may be convenient. But is it better? No.

I AM STRIKING FOR THE FUTURE OF THE NHS. This gov is purposefully squeezing pay and conditions of all NHS staff + undermining whole service. Intention is privatisation + pushing staff to the private sector.

Like most Doctors I felt uncomfortable about the #ConsultantsStrike today; I stood by my decision and went to #bmarally Was ambivalent about #micklynch but he made an electric meeting. Government is systematically underfunding all but the super rich. We are going back pre 2WWar!

Junior doctors in Scotland aren't on strike today, but junior doctors in England are. The difference? The Scottish govt is negotiating but the Tory govt in London is refusing to. #JuniorDoctorsStrike
