The United States seems intent on exacting revenge for its battlefield loss by targeting the sports arena instead.
The Iranian national team left Seattle Stadium in the US and headed straight to the airport, returning to Mexico and arriving at 4:00 a.m.
The United States has no right to host international sporting events.
This has been the most unfair World Cup for Iran.
Thank you, Mexico. ๐ฒ๐ฝ
Iran played three matches.
They drew all three.
And in every single one, they fought with heart, pride, and dignity.
But after their final match, the host nation reportedly demanded they leave immediately.
No time to recover. No time to rest. Just pack up and go.
That is not how you treat athletes.
That is not how you treat human beings.
Despite the pressure, the restrictions, and everything stacked against them, Iran kept showing resilience.
This team deserves respect, not mistreatment.
Thatโs the spirit of the World Cup.
A bus belonging to Stallion Cruise (No. 79), travelling towards Victoria Falls, overtook four Painted Dog Conservation vehicles displaying hazard lights shortly after Gwayi Bridge.
The area is clearly marked with multiple wildlife warning signs, yet the driver overtook on a blind rise.
This kind of driving puts passengers, other road users and wildlife at unnecessary risk.
We urge all drivers travelling through wildlife areas to slow down, obey road rules and remember that arriving safely is more important than arriving quickly.

๐จ Didier Drogba: Nine African nations reaching the knockout stage is more than a statistic - it's a statement.
๐ฃ๏ธ "I can't remember the last time Africa made this kind of impact at a World Cup. What we're witnessing isn't luck or coincidence - it's the result of years of growth, belief and hard work.
I've watched many of the African teams throughout this tournament, and every nation that qualified earned it on merit. Ghana stood toe-to-toe with England without fear. Senegal showed why they're one of Africa's finest footballing nations. Morocco, South Africa, DR Congo, Cรดte d'Ivoire and Cape Verde all played with courage, discipline and conviction.
Cape Verde's story is especially remarkable. A nation with a small population has proved that organisation, belief and teamwork can compete with football's biggest names.
The biggest difference is the mentality. African teams are no longer arriving just to participate - they're arriving to compete, to qualify and to challenge for the biggest prizes.
The rest of the world should take notice because African football is entering a new era.
This isn't just a good tournament for Africa.
It feels like the beginning of something much bigger."
9 out of the 10 African teams have made it to the last 32 of the World Cup.
Itโs been a brilliant tournament for African football.
And remember in the old 32 team World Cup format Africa only had 5 places.
A point has been proven.
The captain of Iranโs National Team, Mehdi Taremi, calls out FIFA and the U.S.:
โThis is a disaster World Cup. We canโt stay in the country and have to travel every time we play without any recovery. Now we canโt stay in Seattle and have to return to Tijuana. This is not fair.โ
Cape Verdeโs goalkeeper Vozinha now has more Instagram followers than any active NFL, MLB and NHL players ๐
He'll now face Lionel Messi's Argentina in the World Cup knockout stage... Imagine if he keeps a clean sheet ๐

WATCH This incident occurred today, 27 June, at Musami Cross, Domborembudzi. These schoolboys boarded a Bolt Cutter bus at Juru Growth Point heading to Mutoko. The bus was already full when they got on, but they were told there would be seats available shortly.
However, when the bus reached Musami Cross, it became even more overloaded. The boys then asked for a refund for the remaining part of their journey so they could stay behind and find alternative transport.
Instead of being assisted, they were forced off the bus and assauIted by the bus crew. The US$20 they had paid for transport was also not refunded.
Please take action, @PoliceZimbabwe

What an incredible achievement for African football. 8 out of 10 African teams have advanced to the knockout stage! With Algeria still to play, it could be 9 teams.
