Just got back from picking up asparagus. Less than in previous weeks because sales had slowed. AND THEN YOU GO BY AND ORDER IT ALL IN ONE DAY! Apologies to everyone who missed out. There will be one final asparagus run next week and that will be it for the 2021 Asparagus Season.

We Germans do take our white asparagus serious which is why one of us makes the trip to Wahlbeck to pick up the asparagus once a week from late April to early June. Waiting for the shuttle now. Back on Wednesday.

Since the weather was nice we fired up the grill and put a few Thuringians on. Happy customers as you can see, so since it is a bank holiday weekend we will be offering Bratwurst in a bun tomorrow and Monday as well. Come and visit us at the warehouse shop in Walthamstow!
