Welp. I just submitted my second #WritersoftheFuture entry. I'm not caught up about winning, but it would be nice if I got a better rank than I did last quarter. I think this is a better story.
Check out "Witcher Man and the Case of the Wolf that Wasn't", complete on our blog!

@DougGreenAuthor Most of my current projects are short stories for my blog.
I have kicked around the idea of putting a trigger warning on the entire blog. :-)
@DougGreenAuthor I'm a big believer in paying it forward.
A friend of mine always helps me with my editing, so I'm helping someone else.
This sort of thing really helps us writers who can't afford to hire professional editors right now. :-)
@Traveling_Meat I'm currently doing a deep dive into story structure myself.
Weirdly, there are not a lot of good videos and articles that give a concise explanation of the react structure.
I'm just sort of having to cobble the pieces together.
Absolutely not. We all have our own perspectives and points of view.
As long as we're honest about that, it's not a bad thing.

Our amazing Christmas present.
It's a Lovecraft inspired cookbook, with recipes like The Rrise of the Great Olde Buns and Herbert West's Deanimator Cocktail. :-)
@ohiowa89 @MariRoj83929420 When I was younger, I read Sherlock Holmes and a lot of other Classics, because I thought it was supposed to.
Then I discovered moderngenre fiction, and started reading Xanth, by Piers Anthony.
That's when I started reading for fun.
