@HydraHandler Sam snorted softly.
" The stitching should ready to come out the day after tomorrow. But I want him off that ligament until I can assess him shifted." She stated looking directly at Seth who shrank back.
@HydraHandler " It's alright. I got the idea. Sam tried running it off one time and never told us. He almost lost his foot from the infection!" She replied. " For this injury I say Seth did the right thing by getting help and keeping off of it" she smiled handing him a few treats for later.
@HydraHandler " I was stalking him and when I got bit I dropped." Seth explained grimacing from discomfort as a splint was created to keep him from flexing his foot.
@HydraHandler The Veterinarian had been watching " Immobilize the foot for me Dad. " She spoke softly before looking up at Garret " Can you tell me what happened when he got bitten? I'm sure he'll say it was a rabid beast that needs to be shot." She asked side eyeing Sam.
@HydraHandler " It shows, it's nice and small." He nodded. Getting a few things out the old doctor gave Seth a fresh bandage and a couple shots " this is just an antibiotic and some pain meds. After a good nap he'll be good as new" he smiled.
@HydraHandler " Dad's been bit too?" Seth asked amused as he was set on the sofa.
" A few times" The Elder replied getting down to check the wound. " Nice job. Most of my jobs done already." He complimented on the stiches.
@HydraHandler " I see Seth's meet his father's old friend " the elder doctor chuckled leading them to the living room.
" That old Badger has had it out for the Pack for years " The female Veterinarian smiled tenderly " Don't worry I don't need him to shift "
@HydraHandler " We'll let them decide on that. The Vet might let you skip that this time. She's never had us shift with stiches in the past." Sam replied soothingly. He could tell this was a scary time for the pup.
@HydraHandler " I told Doc Little Deer about the bite and he agreed his daughter in-law should take a look at it too. "
" That means I'll have to shift again... Won't that pull the stiches?" Seth protested.
@HydraHandler Both doctors were just pulling in when they arrived. Sam had shifted back and jogged over to take Seth. " Here, Let me carry the Pup inside. He's not as light as he looks!" He chuckled as Seth huffed .
@HydraHandler Seth waited for his dad to leave before speaking. " I was just tunnel visioned on tackling you that I never noticed the burrow. I knew he was close, just not that close."
@HydraHandler Seth dug his other heal into the dirt as he fought to keep still. Sam spoke to his son soothingly in their native tongue as he held the injured leg still for Garret.
@HydraHandler " I'll keep him still " Sam replied from next to Seth's waist " the faster we get this done and get him back to the Doc the better. "
Seth laid back silently prepared for more pain to come.
