I have nothing against Rishabh Pant, but dropping Sanju Samson after he scored a century in his last game against South Africa is highly condemnable. This decision can severely dent a player's confidence and demoralize him. It is incredibly shameful, and the selection committee owes us an explanation for this reckless choice.

While Rishabh Pant is well-suited for Test cricket and should be the first choice in the Test squad, his performance in white-ball formats (T20/ODI) has been mediocre at best.
