The Odyssey hit so much harder on second watch. Knowing the rhythms of this movie really helps. It felt like the entire story cracked open for me this time around and I got that "oh my god, I'm levitating" feeling I was hoping for but never got there when I first saw it.

One has to remember that The Spongebob SquarePants Movie is also technically an adaptation of The Odyssey.

So while Christopher Nolan deserves his flowers, just remember, Spongebob did it first.

July 17 is a weird one for me.

10 years ago, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

I still haven't come to grips with it, and likley never will. But as hard as it may be (and it's f-ing hard), I'm lucky to live the life I do, surrounded by the most amazing people on the planet.

Robert Pattinson will be approaching his 42nd birthday by the time The Batman Part II (a movie distinctly about a young Batman) comes to theaters.

That's 4 years older than Christian Bale was when we played a grizzled, pulled-out-of-retirement Batman in The Dark Knight Rises.

Lost in this Batman 2 delay is the fact that Dynamic Duo has been dated for June 2028 for years at this point. There is no way DC Studios releases TWO Batman-centric films within six months of each other.

I wouldn't be surprised if DD gets pushed.
