In my first full day yesterday, I completed 11 Robotaxi rides.

My longest wait time has been 8 minutes. I would say average wait time was close to 4 minutes.

I’ve encountered zero issues during my rides so far. A few pickup locations in the neighborhood haven’t been perfect, they could’ve been closer. But when it drops me off, it goes right in front of the home which is good. Easily fixable, I would like to see a location pin added in the future.

I find the software version on these cars to be VERY confident, and aggressive — in a good way. The driving experience is incredibly smooth, you can’t compare it to any UBER human driver imo. Miles better.

Overall so far, it’s feels much more polished to actually use it in person than watching it online. This is no Mickey Mouse launch, Tesla put an extreme amount of work into this, and it shows.

The moment these scales and there’s millions on the road, it’s going to dominate. Wait times will be non existent, and prices will be able to undercut the competition due to scale. It’s gonna be fun to witness how this unfolds out.
