🔥IRAN THREATENS TO CLOSE STRAIT OF HORMUZ AS US-IRAN DEAL HANGS IN THE BALANCE🔥
Middle East tensions are escalating rapidly as uncertainty surrounds the Iran-US talks following Israeli airstrikes and renewed violence across the region.
US President Donald Trump's envoy has reportedly travelled to Switzerland for talks, while Pakistan's Interior Minister is heading to Tehran for meetings linked to the Iran-US negotiations.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah says it will not allow Israel "freedom of movement" in Lebanon, as clashes continue and Israeli military operations persist in the south.
Iran says the United States must ensure Israel ends its attacks on Lebanon, while violence in Gaza and Lebanon continues to fuel fears of a wider regional conflict.
According to Gaza's Health Ministry, at least five Palestinians have been killed and dozens injured in Israeli attacks over the past 48 hours. In Lebanon, at least 12 people have reportedly been killed in Israeli strikes since dawn.
Reports also suggest President Trump urged Israel to agree to a ceasefire with Hezbollah, saying: "You just gotta calm down sometimes and use your head."
Adding to global concerns, Iran has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz one of the world's most important oil shipping routes raising fears of major economic and geopolitical consequences worldwide.
🌍 Will diplomacy prevail, or is the Middle East heading towards a deeper crisis?

🔥 Moscow under attack as Ukrainian drones strike deep inside 🇷🇺 Russia Vows Retaliation
Moscow on fire 🔥
Ukraine Strikes Moscow as Fires Rage💨
Fires light up the sky, smoke rises over key infrastructure, and the war is no longer confined to the front lines.
🇺🇦 Ukraine says: "If our cities burn, Moscow will feel the consequences too."
🇷🇺 Russia vows retaliation, launching new strikes and promising a strong response.
Moscow witnessed one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks since the beginning of the war, with several drones reportedly penetrating air defenses and striking strategic infrastructure, including the city's major oil refinery. Massive fires and thick black smoke rose over parts of the Russian capital, while flights at several airports were temporarily disrupted. (The Guardian)
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the strikes as a "justified response" to continued Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities, warning that if Ukraine continues to suffer, "Moscow will burn too." (The Independent)
Russian authorities said hundreds of drones were intercepted, but acknowledged damage to infrastructure and injuries in the Moscow region. The strike on the Moscow oil refinery is considered one of the most significant attacks on Russia's energy infrastructure near the capital since the war began. (Business Insider)
What is Russia's response?
Russia has already launched fresh missile and drone attacks against Ukrainian targets, including Kyiv and other cities, while officials have promised additional retaliatory measures. Military analysts expect Moscow to strengthen air defenses around the capital and continue strikes against Ukraine's military and energy infrastructure. (Reuters)
The escalation highlights the growing reach of Ukraine's long-range drone capabilities and the increasingly direct impact of the war on Russian territory, raising concerns that both sides may intensify attacks in the coming weeks. (The Guardian)
Is this a turning point in the war, or the beginning of a more dangerous escalation?

@Big_marvis Davido making it to that stage as a Nigerian 🇳🇬 already makes us proud. Showing that we’re not perfect as a country is also being patriotic and alerting the world to the country’s issues. When artists go quiet during crises, people say there’s no reaction from them; when they speak out about negative things, it’s considered unpatriotic because of their influence. World Cup or not. If the government had done the right thing, there wouldn’t be any need for such displays. I understand people like you trying to divert from the real issue and shape a narrative that won’t succeed, you can see how many people are against you in the comments. Nigeria 🇳🇬 is a CRIME SCENE, and that country needs a change. Go and talk to your sponsors and tell them to do better mate🙄
🔥 "We no longer feel safe in Belfast."🔥
Two Indian women, Tejal and Nishath, say their lives changed forever after riots in Belfast left their home destroyed by fire.
The pair were inside their flat above Sham Supermarket on Donegall Road when a mob set a bin on fire outside. They escaped safely, but all of their belongings were lost.
Nishath, who has lived in Belfast for six years, said: "Belfast is my home, but after this incident, we are scared even to go to the shop next to our house."
Tejal described the attack as one of the worst nights of her life and said she is now considering leaving the city she once loved.
The violence, which followed unrest after a knife attack, has left many residents shaken and raised concerns about racism, safety, and community relations in Belfast.
From calling Belfast home to wanting to leave everything behind 💔” or “A city they loved. A night they will never forget.”

🔥 WHO WILL OWN AFRICA IN 50 YEARS?
Our ancestors fought for independence. Will our generation protect it 🫵 or lose it?
What have we done for our children that will compare to what our ancestors sacrificed for Africa's freedom and independence?
What will this generation leave behind 👉prosperity and dignity, or emptiness and dependence?
Many Africans are increasingly concerned about the growing sale or long-term control of African land, strategic assets, and natural resources by foreign interests. The level of foreign ownership and influence in some sectors has raised serious questions about sovereignty, economic independence, and the future opportunities available to African citizens.
Countries around the world protect their national interests in different ways. Many encourage foreign investment while maintaining limits on foreign ownership of land and key assets. There is an important difference between welcoming investment that creates jobs and growth, and allowing excessive control over resources that should benefit future generations.
If our children grow up in economies where they have little ownership, little influence, and limited opportunities to lead, what kind of independence will they truly have? They should not have to compete from the sidelines in their own countries. Africans must be empowered to lead their economies, build businesses, own assets, and shape the future, while welcoming partnerships that are fair, balanced, and beneficial to all.
The fight for the next generation is not with weapons, but with knowledge, unity, accountability, wise leadership, and long-term vision.
Let us act now so that those who come after us inherit hope instead of hardship.
The future of Africa is being shaped today.
Will Africans own it 👉or merely live in it?
