@ChristineKelsa4@BasilTheGreat Hi Steeny, you've turned off quoting or responses so I'm assuming you just want to vent. I'm more than grateful for the life I have (I know how lucky I am). I'm not trading insults. I'm sorry you are in such pain, I hope something changes for the better & wish you all the best
@ChristineKelsa4@BasilTheGreat I too live with chronic pain and I have a choice: I can say how awful it is and do nothing or I can use what I know to try to make things better. I agree govt enact the solutions but we are part of a society & in a good society we use our collective knowledge to solve problems.
@Wildcat27016726@StanislawWeston@ShannonRawls@Thefactsdude You are a sample of 1. All you can say is that your experience didn't cause X. You can't say what happened with the neighbours kid because you weren't inside the house, seeing what was going on behind closed doors.
@Hypnoteq@ChristineKelsa4@BasilTheGreat Hi Susan I appreciate that you are upset. I can't solve for that, it sounds awful. As I said I don't know the circumstances, usually drugs get pulled if the manufacturer is overcharging the NHS & aren't renegotiating but as I don't know this situation I can't comment.
@ParagonPatriot@ShannonRawls@Thefactsdude Hi, another tweeter shared that this is the mum (I did tweet I wasn't sure so thanks for confirming). I also want to clarify that my further comments were not directed at you but a broader comment on others saying as the mum it's ok. Sorry if that didn't come across in that way.
@WyattCatarina I'd be really cautious with anything that promotes scar tissue formation. We know from the coils that were used for sterilisation & inserted in the fallopian tubes that scar tissue formation is not easily controllable & can lead to significant problems later on beyond the site.
@butler397832@BasilTheGreat Private would've taken longer still (about a 2 week or more wait across 3 different hospitals within 40 miles of my home address) so everyone saying "Ah just go private, if we privatise the NHS life will be so much better" may find that things would be even worse.
@Hypnoteq@ChristineKelsa4@BasilTheGreat Hi Susan, sounds like you solved the problem. Great!
As it relates to withdrawal of medication, as I don't know what medication you were on or why it was withdrawn I'm not able to comment. Is the NHS perfect? Of course not AND I would still prefer it over USA healthcare.
@StanislawWeston@ShannonRawls@Thefactsdude I tend to disagree. If we look at who the product of those 'old methods' are, they are the people that we say are now progressive and that you interpret perhaps as not as effective. So, could that 'old' way have caused the 'progressive' attitude & so created its own monster.
@lilycat0@BasilTheGreat I don't disagree and that change came about not because someone complained but because they came together and took action. The complaint itself was not the solution.
@TrumpsHurricane Well, there could be lots of reasons he can't fully cross his legs: tight hip flexors, sore glutes or maybe something is getting in the way. Who knows?
@mikecosgrove Mike, I can only tell you what we have seen since the 1990s in our town. When markets crash, investors turn to property. They may well go back to stocks & shares later but by that time they've skewed the market.
