Here we come to the famous angry sex scene. This might be one of the most emotionally intense scenes Osborn has ever had.

After the confrontation in the rain, Osborn gets a fever. MC goes to take care of him — and we see an incredibly rare side of him: 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘆, 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵, 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲.

When MC tells him, “Osborn isn’t like this,” his answer is almost painfully vulnerable:

The man who is usually so decisive, so free, and so good at taking control of every situation suddenly doesn’t know what he is supposed to look like when the woman he loves is determined to leave him.

“Osborn, after hearing the words ‘break up,’ is exactly like this.”

And then comes my favorite — and probably the most painful — part of this entire breakup.😭

In Part 1, MC imagined another woman who could fit into his life better than she could: someone who could be there when he gets hurt, wait with flowers after his races, and hold him when he’s exhausted.

𝗢𝘀𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 “𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲” 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.🫠

Who is she? Is she going to take care of him the way MC did tonight? Bring him flowers and open the champagne with him?

And finally: 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗺 𝗜 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲?

That line hurts SO much. 😩MC can imagine a future in which someone else might fit into his life better. 𝗢𝘀𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻’𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 “𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲.”

And finally, the real fear underneath this breakup comes out: “𝗜𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀, 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲.”

She loves someone so fundamentally free that she is terrified of becoming the reason he becomes less so.

And his answer is painfully simple:

And that is what leads into the sex scene.
