Video of The Resolution; #StopHazaraGenocide Yesterday, we gathered in a powerful protest in front of the White House, raising our voices against the systematic genocide of the Hazara people in Afghanistan. A group of activists, victims, and human rights advocates participated to demand that the international community recognize the ongoing atrocities against Hazaras and take responsibility. During the protest, a resolution on the systematic attacks and genocide against the Hazara community in Afghanistan was read aloud, calling attention to the gravity of the situation. In this protest, we delivered a clear message to the world: We demand that the United States, the United Nations, and all international bodies formally recognize the genocide against the Hazara people. Our demands include the establishment of an independent international investigative commission to document these crimes, immediate protective measures for the Hazara community, and holding the perpetrators accountable through international courts. We also stressed the urgent need for gender-specific protections for Hazara women and girls, who face severe persecution. However, we acknowledge that achieving our ultimate goal—international recognition of the Hazara genocide—will be a long and difficult journey. This effort requires greater cooperation and coordination. It demands even more commitment from all of us. We, the Hazara diaspora, must remain determined and persistent in our pursuit of this cause. The road ahead is challenging, but every step brings us closer to justice.
