People who don’t follow football bore me so much. Because when we’re there for the qualifiers and everything else, we are the ones who go through it all. You come at the end and spew nonsense, mxm.
I'm not a full time soccer fan, but I'm glad to have experienced Bafana Bafana in this World Cup. I'm so proud of them but I'm devastated. Not even a relationship breakup has ever hurt me this much 😭
@1labombo You see, if you had a country with the best schools, best medical care, facilities, best housing, best entertainment, hosted a FIFA World Cup successfully, best economy, and didn’t have people from all over Africa flocking into your country you’d understand.
Sigh…. Considering the fact that I am a linguistics professor and researcher specializing in Black languaging practices, and I teach a course on African American language, let me repeat: AAL and English are different languages. “South African people be speaking” is NOT English.
@thecultureecon The President's promise was clear: "When Bafana Bafana lift the World Cup, I will gladly declare a public holiday." For now, let's celebrate a historic achievement as the boys advance to the Round of 32. History made, and the journey continues!
