Last summer I made a recruitment plan and colour coded the strength of the Swansea squad (June 2024), before the overseas recruitment got underway.
Fast forward to now, 2025 and we look comfortable & competitive in every position.
The recruitment team deserves huge credit👏🏻🦢
I never thought Alan Sheehan would be doing this well, nor did I want him permanently when he was announced as interim manager, but I’m glad he’s proven me, and by the looks of it, many others wrong.
It does come across that some, not all, some don’t want him, purely because he’s the last part remaining from Michael Duff/Paul Watson era, which is a shame.
He’s doing a fantastic job, and personally should be given the role permanently. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion and who they would like in charge, but it’s very difficult to argue against the work Alan Sheehan is doing. The players believe in him, and the captain of this club has said himself he’d love it if it was him to get the permanent job.
I’ve seen people saying they don’t want him because it’s not The Swansea Way. The Swansea Way is of course about being possession based, but its possession with purpose, let’s not forget that bit. Having 65%-75% of the ball and doing nothing with it, that’s not The Swansea Way, and never will be.
I’m not saying he’s going to go on and do what Roberto Martinez, Brendan Rodgers & Michael Laudrup did, but he’s got a team playing with the ball and with intent. Not just messing about with it at the back for fun.
In the ten games Alan Sheehan has managed this season, we’ve led the possession stat in six of those. We’ve gone on a four game winning streak without conceding for the first time since the 2007/2008 season under Roberto Martinez. Currently five unbeaten with that brilliant result at Leeds, and including a win up at Sunderland.
If you want someone else in charge, there’s no harm in that of course, but he can’t not be in the frame. He’s done everything right and is the clear front runner for me, all day. 🦢
Cardiff divys ripping down Swansea flags tonight yet again.
Cardiff fans bringing all club colour flags to the game nothing to do with Wales at all.
Standard behaviour from Cardiff tbh
not the first time i've witnessed it. #Swans#Welshfootball#wales
Pray that Cardiff don’t get a get out of jail card this season
Reading kept them up two year ago with points deduction but feels like league one is upon them this year
Seems a matter of time.. and im here for it.
@THEDanVaughn I've used it for learning/brushing up on a language. Most teachers have trial lessons which give you a good look if you like their teaching style, etc. I did 3 trials before I settled on a teacher. Very easy to use, wide variety of options depending on how common the language is
@m00kie59@USLChampionship If i recall the jagermeister cup was originally meant to include the championship. There’s talk that depending on its success this yr, championship may yet join kt next yr
@DanielJJames2 We're still here, just less organized overall. Things have become more regionalized since Stateside Jacks disbanded. Everything rebranded under 'Global Jacks' but not sure on the difference
