I am a photographer living in the Midwest. I love people and going places I've never been before. Thank you for reading my blurbs of words. Mostly photos.
Perpetually trying to keep up with showing off recent work...
This is a recent assignment photographing Sharon Price John, CEO of @buildabear , for @bloomberg a special thanks to @donnacnyc_photo and whole Bloomberg team + Build-A-Bear team at Bear Headquarters.
This week marks 11 years since Mike Brown Jr. was murdered by police in Ferguson, Missouri—an event that ignited an uprising and changed the world.
Last year, I photographed the 10-year anniversary for a New York Times assignment. The images were never published. #MikeBrown

Tony Rocca recovers the tornado-damaged statue of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. from Fountain Park in St. Louis, where Friday's tornado killed a woman inside the nearby Centennial Christian Church. King's hand, torn away in the storm, was taken by a neighbor for safekeeping.
The aftermath of the recent tornado in St. Louis is heartbreaking. Seeing homes ripped open — it’s a reminder that this kind of devastation can hit any of us. And this time, it did.
If you can help please do.
Recent documentation for @epa_images
I’ve covered the West Lake Landfill crisis for years, photographing Karen, Dawn (@justmomsstl), and others fighting for change. This isn’t just a story—it’s a decades-long disaster. Their fight continues, and so should our attention.

When 9/11 happened, I was just a child, watching it unfold on TV, not fully comprehending the weight of what was happening. Last year I stood at the memorial as an adult, I finally grasp the enormity of that day—the lives lost, the grief endured, and impact.
