@lefttailguy "ai-enabled accounting" is just fire half the staff and let gpt handle the s-corp. thrive is openai's pe arm in a startup hoodie. circular but the multiples slap.
openai-backed thrive raised $2b at $12b to buy accounting firms and inject them with gpt. softbank and altimeter in.
your next cpa is a claude agent. private equity but the lbo is an api call.
Interesting to model Thrive Holdings as the economic entity wholly dedicated to easing the most salient bottlenecks to AI development / deploment for OpenAI. The biggest being the data bottleneck: Thrive Holdings turns acquired businesses into RL environments that produce an endless flow of real-world work data for OpenAI research teams. And now, with the launch of this new platform, they are attempting to ease countless technical and regulatory bottlenecks involved with standing up power and data center infrastructure as well.
Also, pretty incredible that Thrive Holdings has already acquired / deployed into 70 businesses. Guessing most of those are small accounting firms, but impressive nonetheless.
@RiotPlatforms 2021: decentralize money. 2026: decentralize electricity for claude. the pivot is so hard it gave me whiplash. respect tho they found a bigger bagholder than retail.
riot platforms was a bitcoin miner. now theyre renting 191 mw to anthropic for 20 years at $9.1b. stock up 25%.
crypto miners became ai landlords overnight. same power plants new narrative. at least this time the revenue is real.
Riot reported Q2 2026 results. Highlights:
Signed a 20-year data center lease for 191 MW of critical IT capacity
$174.2M total revenue
$23.2M Data Center revenue
Produced 1,587 Bitcoin
“Today's announcement of a landmark 20-year, 191-megawatt data center lease with a leading frontier AI lab marks a defining moment in our evolution into a leading developer of large-scale data centers,” said Jason Les, CEO of Riot.

Solid breakdown. Oracle actually kills a lot of friction - like the tweet and you buy, no extra steps.
Still don’t get why they’re pushing so hard on Twitter when noice already has real traction on Farcaster.
Scout program sounds decent, we’ll see if it sticks.

Unlike Edge, Brave will keep supporting uBlock Origin.
We host uBlock Origin and other Manifest v2 extensions on our servers so Brave browser users can still use them. Toggle them at Settings > Extensions > Manifest v2 extensions.
1/ amid venezuela’s suspicious @polymarket win, rep. ritchie torres is fast-tracking a bill to bar officials from trading on nonpublic info
analysis by @theovail
2/ here’s why getting prediction market rules right could shape their future as trusted tools — or just another exploit for political elites
3/ the political case is simple. if politicians can legally bet on outcomes they influence or see coming, incentives twist and public trust takes another hit
4/ we already saw this movie with stocks. the stock act of 2012 was supposed to stop congressional insider trading. it didn’t
5/ richard burr dumped $1.7m after a classified covid briefing. kelly loeffler offloaded millions after the same warning. tommy tuberville traded defense names and missed reporting deadlines 132 times. zero prosecutions. $200 fee for hiding trades, routinely waived
6/ prediction markets make the game even cleaner. explicit bets on “will this bill pass” or “will there be a military move” leave almost no deniability
7/ torres’s bill reportedly extends stock act logic to these markets. details still thin, but the direction matters. without clear rules, suspicious trades become almost impossible to touch
8/ prediction markets did $44b in volume last year. polymarket’s 2024 election accuracy showed what they can do when they work
9/ insider activity doesn’t necessarily break the market. on-chain everything is visible. wallets can be tailed. information still gets priced in
10/ reputation is the real risk. if the story becomes “just another way for connected people to cash in,” mainstream adoption and sensible regulation get a lot harder
11/ friendly regulators are in the seat right now. if platforms don’t help solve this, a less friendly administration will do it with a heavier hand later
12/ this doesn’t mean blanket regulation. narrow rules that stop public officials from betting on things they control serve everyone. crypto was supposed to check establishment abuse, not give it new tools
13/ enforcement will still be hard. proving intent is harder. the behavior probably continues either way
14/ but clear norms plus on-chain transparency still matter. every polymarket trade is public. researchers and communities can watch in real time
15/ these are the formative years. getting the foundations right is the difference between prediction markets becoming trusted information tools or another elite playground

yo these ai bots on polymarket are printing insane numbers rn @RetroValix
dropped one where a dude ran Claude on short crypto Up/Down markets for 3 months
started with 100k
ended at +810k hybrid strat: opens position on one side based on its own model
hedges the other side if price moves
grabs full arb sets whenever Up+Down dips under 1
https://t.co/YbR3kIYi62 @codewithimanshu
has another one running Claude Fable 5
avg trade size $3
146 trades per hour
turned a few k into 81-96k just grinding micro edges all day https://t.co/G6vEtqq93b
https://t.co/ECHjNezCRn big directional calls, no emotional degen plays
just monitoring BTC ETH SOL 5-15min markets 24/7
sniping mispricings and arbs that humans can’t even see in time prediction markets + AI is lowkey the cleanest meta right now
while everyone else is still chasing the next memecoin pump these bots are just quietly farming the orderbookwild times
This trader built a bot with Claude Fable 5 and made $96,000 on Polymarket.
Average trade size: $3.
The bot trades crypto Up/Down markets using a hybrid strategy that combines two-sided market making, arbitrage, and directional trading.
The strategy has 5 steps:
1. Monitors multiple crypto markets continuously
The bot tracks BTC, ETH, and SOL price action in real-time across different time windows.
2. Calculates its own fair probability for Up and Down
No reliance on Polymarket prices. The bot builds its own model and compares it to the order book.
3. Places orders at prices that keep the combined cost of Up + Down below $1
This is the arbitrage edge. If Up costs 0.52 and Down costs 0.49, total is 1.01. The bot waits. When total drops below 1.00, it enters.
4. Manages the unhedged portion of the position
After capturing arbitrage, the bot actively manages remaining exposure instead of holding passively.
5. Keeps directional exposure when its model identifies one outcome as undervalued
When the bot sees clear mispricing, it leans into the undervalued side and holds until the edge closes.
The entire edge is repeating small wins thousands of times.
With an average trade size of $3, the bot captures micro-edges that manual traders ignore.
No emotions.
No hesitation.
Just calculated entries repeated at scale until they compound into serious profit.
Most people try to make big bets and predict major moves.
This system just identifies tiny mispricings, enters with $3 average positions, and repeats the process until it grows the account.
$96K profit built on thousands of $3 trades.
The system runs autonomous:
→ Claude Fable 5 handles 5-step decision logic
→ Monitors multiple crypto markets 24/7
→ Calculates fair probability independent of Polymarket prices
→ Enters when combined Up + Down cost drops below $1
→ Manages unhedged positions actively
→ Holds directional exposure when model sees clear edge
No manual trading.
No guessing.
Just finding micro-edges and exploiting them thousands of times.
