Again, what's notable is that no legacy companies were positioned and able to adapt and own these. They all required startups. This is why Facebook pretending that it is going to create/own the Metaverse is so transparently lame: like Compuserve/Prodigy owned the internet?

This is helpful to the uninitiated. What would be a great addition are narrative metaphors, "Blockchain is like..." E.g no stranger is able to enter your house when you are not home unless all of your neighbors are aware of it and agree that it is for a legitimate purpose.
So, this infographic proves its own point. Here I am retweeting something visual. But, text is also visual, and nearly all video is both visual AND aural. It's aural content that is undervalued in business communication outside of advertising.
In any creative endeavor, we stand on the shoulders of giants. Pay attention to the work of others: what works and why? What doesn't work and why? It's the why that's key.
