I welcomed the Politburo to the 398th Ordinary Session, marking the start of the 23rd ZANU PF National People’s Conference opening this Friday in Chinhoyi. Our focus is clear: translating party resolutions into tangible economic results.

We reviewed final preparations and the Central Committee Report. I urged Committee Chairs to be guided by the collective wisdom of our delegates. Every deliberation must enhance intra-party democracy and positively impact the quality of life for all Zimbabweans.

I commend our Departments for great strides in our 2025/2026 administrative performance. Through policy oversight and stakeholder engagement, we continue to drive reforms and foster real-time gap closing with a singular unity of purpose.

My profound gratitude goes to the Organising Committee, Resource Mobilisation Sub-Committee, donors, and well-wishers for a highly successful Presidential Fundraising Dinner Ball in Harare. Your support strengthens our organizational foundation.

Success is in the DNA of ZANU PF. Our responsibility does not end with passing resolutions. We must provide bold oversight to ensure full, impactful implementation guided strictly by our national interests as we march towards Vision 2030.

-Welcomed Politburo to 398th Ordinary Session marking beginning of 23rd ZANU PF National People's Conference opening Friday 16 Oct in Chinhoyi, Mash West.
-Session to make final review of Conference hosting preparations and content/substance.
-Politburo Members to Chair various Conference Committees urged to be guided by collective wisdom of delegates who represent generality of membership.
-Deliberations must enhance intra-party democracy while ensuring decisions positively impact economy and quality of life.
-Central Committee Report to be tabled before Conference as required by Constitution, commended Politburo and Heads of Departments for detailed submissions.
-Urged members to acquaint with Departmental activities, perspectives, challenges for greater collaboration, synergies and joint programming.
-Applauded Departments for great strides, said Work Plans and Policy Management meetings ensured judicious planning, monitoring and real-time gap closing.
-Praised Party's 2025/2026 administrative performance and successful adoption of reforms through oversight and engagement with Govt and stakeholders.
-Thanked Conference Organising Committee and Resource Mobilisation Sub-Committee for hugely successful Presidential Fundraising Dinner Ball in Harare, plus all well-wishers and donors.
-Success is DNA of ZANU PF, 23rd Conference must be executed to guarantee defining results - Departments must work diligently with unity of purpose.
-Reminded Politburo responsibility does not end with adoption of Resolutions, must provide bold oversight to ensure implementation for impactful results guided by Party and national interests.
