China is a $ 20 Trillion Economy
Yet only 9% of their fiscal revenue goes for paying Interest on debt

India is a $ 4 Trillion Economy
Yet a whopping 40% of our Fiscal Revenue goes for paying Interest on Debt

The worst local government in China pays only 17.7% of its revenue on Interest on Debt annually

So we may scream Debt to GDP, Debt to GDP all the time but "Interest Burden" is the true metric of debt

Out of ₹100/- that India earns, ₹40/- is spent just on paying interest

Only ₹60/- is available for actual development and THEN COMES CORRUPTION 😞😞😞😞😞

This is also why Wenzhou, a Tier 3 City - similar to Gorakhpur or Erode in India looks like this....
