@bswagspeare 1) the Vietnam thing is 100% true 2) the US entered WW1 in 1917, long after your involvement, to help the British Crown 3) The US diverted a large portion of the Japanese forces from their planned invasion of Port Moresby to help save an incursion into Oz in WW2
@BBLPERRY This was forever and always going to be nothing more than a trap game for the US. Could Oz have beaten them? Yes! But if that happened something terribly wrong would have had to happen as far as the US was concerned. No reason to be mad - an American wouldn’t win the Bathurst.
@McClain916@washghost1 Basically every Norwegian adult is fluent in English - they were giving their son some practice in a foreign country which is pretty cool for some confidence!
@nytmike Always knew every Dodger’s hitter who sucked for other teams, magically discovering “launch angle!!!!!” Was code for doped out of their fucking minds.
@Squattocrat They honestly gave it a good try for a number of the major campaigns deemed highly important (Guadalcanal they would try and float drums of supplies in on the water) but after some failures it was basically a shrug and “samurai mindset guys go get em” 🤷🏻♂️
@Watson_SLdn “These stupid Yanks don’t understand the long historical Anglican British institutions of the Etihad and the Emirates that our founding fathers built and named hundreds of years ago”
@awkwardgoogle None of this is true. There is no standard % oil concentration in the industry for any classification, they are different brand to brand, especially niche vs designer. Also the term “elixir” is meaningless and in its modern usage is only 5 years old. It’s just marketing.
@cowboypete3@_gringuinho_@himbopresident It works wonders on top of scrambled eggs - over easy/medium too. Wash it down with some Ribena and you’ll be well sorted - also, YNWA 💪🏻
