This is quite concerning that someone who has dedicated his career to improving the Physiotherapy profession has essentially been forced out by those “in charge” and people with a grudge to bear 😞
Right then here goes!!!
So I’ve just received this evening notification of another 3 complaints sent to the HCPC about more so called unprofessional behaviour online that they are ‘investigating’ yet again!
These complaints were all sent during the first week of my hearing in July and I think explains why my first hearing was postponed after 5 years of prolonged delays!
So unfortunately I think I’m just about done with the profession right now, and think I will now voluntarily deregulate myself from the HCPC and physiotherapy!
I just don’t think I can be bothered to fight anymore of these malicious and pathetic complaints from those I have criticised, offended, or upset in the past and deal with the HCPCs woeful drawn handling of them!
It really is mentally fatiguing and exhausting!
I also have a feeling that these complaints and investigations will never stop now unless I do this!
So for my own mental and physical health, and to allow me to say what I want, how I want, including my critique and criticism of the dogma and outdated thinking and people in this profession, I think that I have no choice but to find another path that allows me to honestly and simply help those in pain and disability!
It’s been a fun and emotional
20 year ride, and I hate the fact that I have to leave a profession I love and am passionate about under these circumstances!
But life goes on!
And to those that have submitted these complaints recently and in the past… Congrats… well played… you’ve got what you’ve wanted!
But believe me… you haven’t won the fight, there are still many more rounds left in me and I hope you have the stamina for it…
Because believe… I do!
See you on the other side!

As Physiotherapists (and most other Allied Healthcare professionals) we have NO choice but to be registered with @The_HCPC to be allowed to do our job. To add a 20% increase to a fee without explanation as to why is ridiculous.
After careful consideration, the HCPC Council has agreed to proposals to increase the annual registration fee from £98.12 to £117.74. The increase will not be introduced until after a legislative approval process has been completed.
