@mccraechum I agree that they have a weird hold on the fanbase and trash takes but I don’t think you can blame them for casting. Most of the people they get to play the game have never heard of big brother and just want exposure. That’s a casting and Julie Chen Moonves problem.
@AnAverageGamerX@heyhey_leo Pokemon ripped of the creature capture genre so who gives a shit. Palworlds actually fun and not just slop shoveled at you for 80 dollars.
@cyberblaqk@OfficialBBDucky They’d never do it at this point because this fanbase is now a bunch of parasocial psychos who try to destroy the lives of anyone they don’t like that signed up for a reality show.
@bbspoilerfan@mjnoscottie Yeah he fucked up last night and not only did he jeopardize himself but he also put Jason and Lyric in the high beams. Then threw the rest of his allies under the bus.
@REDROMINA Good maybe it’ll go back to when it was great and people made videos they were passionate about instead of turning out bullshit for the algorithm and sponsors.
I’m not saying it’s not dirty but building relationships on lies and backstabbing has been a foundational part of big brother since the beginning. Matt Hoffman lied about his wife having a terminal illness and it made great TV. The community has become so unbearable with virtue signaling that nobody wants to be a villain anymore and that’s part of what makes the game interesting. I’m not saying he’s a good villain, laughing about it with drew after was a big mistake but at least he’s trying to make good TV.
@Meg13403602@KelleyJorg They could but why would they care about the shows integrity, for them it’s a opportunity to showcase themselves. Julie Chen Moonves and casting are to blame.
I agree big brother now is inferior to the past version but they won’t change it until people stop watching it.
@Meg13403602@KelleyJorg It’s not her fault it’s castings. They hate the idea of actual fans being on the show, they think they’ll get more viewership with influencers.
