@PatrickTimmons1 I don’t disagree, but they haven’t played any teams ranked in the top 10 in their last 28 games. Harder challenges lay ahead. But they can only beat who they play against and have dispatched most teams handily in this period. Enjoyable game to start the tournament

@JimWhite Englishman living Germany here. On a daily basis I see Arsenal, Man city, Man United, Chelsea & Liverpool kits here at games, gyms and on the street. Even the odd West ham one. Sorry Spurs and Leicester. It is what it is.

@andygoldstein05 moved to Germany in 2013 . Worked in an pub for the 2014 World Cup. Germany 7- Brazil 1 was the most unbelievable experience. Tables were flipped over,glasses were smashed & nobody was bothered. Living in the country that won the World Cup felt once in a lifetime

It’s not only English football needs restructuring, British sport broadcasting needs to catch up with most other countries in the world. (I also pay ca. 15 quid a month to watch the premier league on sky Germany
