Brian Steel argues that every judge, prosecutor, and police officer should be forced to spend four days in prison twice a year:
"Before a person becomes an agent or an officer or a prosecutor or a probation officer or a judge, they need to spend 4 days in a prison as a person in custody."
"Have their clothing taken away and put on the prison garb. Eat the prisoners' 'food'... Be freezing cold while they lay on a 'bed' that is cement with a cushion that's as thin as a sheet... And let them do that for 4 days... and they need to do that every 6 months."
"If they don't do that, because it's too hard, then that should speak volumes to them of what they're doing to the community."

it can be pretty rough living in New Orleans sometimes but all you have to do is walk around listening to Jazz and talk to your neighbor for a second then it’s all good
