@AngryBritishMum@LBC O’Brien is so personally obsessed with Farage as embodying all opposition to him that whether or not realising himself to be helpfully giving him airtime, he is still psychologically compelled to attack him at every opportunity.
@MatthewStadlen@reformparty_uk@ZiaYusufUK Of course it is because never before has a political Party risen so far, so fast, in public support. It's no problem though because the next General Election will give Reform hundreds of new MP's to choose a full size cabinet from.
@bbcquestiontime Kinnock pretending Labour's new toughness on immigration comes from it's concern about rising public hatred for immigrants, rather than concern about Reform and rising public contempt for Labour. Reform as top polling Party attacked by every other, should now be on every QT.
@sweet__gee It's as bad when someone says "I could never be a traitor". They may not be likely to be selected but would they just walk away if they were?
@BrugesGroup You are completely wrong on inheritance tax. For a start , the dead person has gone and so isn't taxed. It is lucky inheritors who are taxed on generally unearned windfall income largely made up of unearned property value inflation paid for by ALL new purchasers and tenants.
@BhaktSanatani_@fasc1nate Amazing anyway, but look at the non-perpendicular masts on the horizon line to see this has been slanted to look even more amazing.
@BBCr4today@Emmabarnett Aside from any consideration of non 100% physically transitioned men, is there NO room for ANY practical compromise to ease the lives of the fully physically transitioned? That seemed to be Keegan's concern whilst being derailed by q's only about her recognition of definitions.
@CllrMikePowell You only write two sentences and still you manage to contradict yourself. First you tell us that you change your mind when the facts change. Then you say you voted to remain and ALWAYS WILL advocate and vote for the UK to return'. It's typical #FBPE delusion I'm afraid.
@Free_to_leave They're not 'being hanged', they 'hanged' themselves. Everyone knows that each brought about their own downfall. Why else is Swinney saying he's the 'continuity candidate' as he inserts his own head in the next noose? It's a cartoon metaphor. No-ones dead. Where is any offence?
@simonjwarner@DavidGHFrost@guardian In 1975, 60% of 18-29’s voted Remain and 77% of over 65’s. 40 years on, it was 75% of 18-24’s, 40% of over 65’s. What is most likely - that those young in 1975 turned against the EU through becoming thick and racist, or that life experience and the changing EU made them wiser?
@openspacessoc@CampaignerKate I don't doubt you've enjoyed yourself Kate. But you were useless to me in minimising the intrusive fencing of East Devon's pebblebed commons or even preventing this this being done more damagingly than legally permitted. The OSS & NE rolled over for Clinton Devon Estates et al.
#SteveHarley Saw Steve and Cockney Rebel at some small hall in Chelmsford just before his first hit and his suddenly being everywhere. I still remember the atmosphere created by everyone seeing a great new talent and knowing it would take off.
@turnipdodger Jibes about the 'promises' of Leave not materialising barely affect many Leavers. Many 'promises' were merely Leave's equally exaggerated response to Remain's Project Fear. Brexit was about much more, was long-term and is as needed as ever. Also affected by Covid and Ukraine.
@Duncanthewegie @GoodwinMJ The 65% saying there has been too much immigration aren't just "some people". The others, of course, will include immigrants themselves, many recently polled as believing only 70,000 p.a. arrive anyway, many benefitting from cheap labour and the crazily naive Open Borders bunch.
@Rebartic I once supported Labour despite some concern about the naivete of many of them. I accepted this for being largely well-meaning and harmless enough if not dictating policy. Now that naive Left minority has become far larger and is allowing its positively dangerous manipulation.
