This is what building in The Sandbox Studio looks like.

Since I'm working on a Topdown/Isometric Adventure-like game for @TheSandboxGame Studio's #Gamejam - I also needed to fix some issues where when we would walk behind trees, terrain or models, we coudl still see our main character. So, playing around with some 'fade/dither' effect to do that. Also, made some changes of the visual style of the paths, and shadow system + added some extra models in the mix! ๐จ
Love vibing with @threejs + @TSBCreators

I just love creating/designing using awesome AI driven tools like the new @TheSandboxGame Studio + Codex from @OpenAI (I personally use GPT 5.5, I prefer it over Claude models)
But I cleaned up some bottlenecks, so now it's running 60 FPS, and added some basic ๐ท๏ธ models to attack and changed the path design + animated grass and trees with a stylized look. And added some animated wtaer ripples near the edges which I like. But I'll probably add some color variation like I had before back into the mix.
Definitely not perfect yet, but, work in progress!

๐งโโ๏ธSaturday play: survive Grim, win 1,000 SAND.
Built in hours with The Sandbox Studio. Hack through zombie waves, record your run, and reply with the clip.
We'll draw one Player at random. ๐

Part 2 of my concept in @TheSandboxGame Studio ๐ฃ
Added enemies, basic combat, and chick collecting. Still messing with it, but you can now stack chicks on your head to stop enemies stealing them.
Thought this would be an easy run . . . i was completely wrong.
Crazy that this mini game was built in just hours using The Sandbox Studio.
If you're up for the challenge, play Grim, record your run, and reply to The Sandbox's post with your gameplay.
One lucky player will take home 1,000 SAND.
I play a lot of games. Grim humbled me in the first 45 seconds.
Spawned in, felt confident and got surrounded by zombies before I even figured out the controls. Died embarrassingly fast. Went back in with actual focus. Made it further. Still died.
What got me was finding out the whole game was built in hours using The Sandbox Studio. Felt way more polished than that should be possible.
Gameplay is attached. It's not my finest run but it's real.
Here's the move: play Grim yourself, record your run and reply to @TheSandboxGame's post with the clip. One player wins 1,000 SAND. Doesn't matter if you're good at it
Here's mine proof of that.
As someone whoโs watched way too many zombie movies, I was convinced Iโd make it a lot further than I did ๐
Turns out the zombies had other ideas
Still, I had a blast playing Grim.
I may have lost this run, but Iโll be back after some practice, and next time Iโm aiming for more
Love the game, especially as a zombie-horror freak myself.
And the fact that it was built in just hours using The Sandbox Studio makes it even more impressive.
Give it a shot too
Play grim, record your run, and reply to @TheSandboxGame post with your clip.
You might just walk with 1,000 SAND
