Despite being an absolute SLOG to climb, Ben Vrackie was actually extremely beautiful!! โค๏ธ
Definitely one of the prettiest hikes I've done. If I could go back in time and do it again, I would... but I won't be doing it a second time ๐๐๐๐

Ben Vrackie was an absolute SLOG... and was still only 2,757ft ๐
But hey, it was a good day! So what if I couldn't use my legs for two days afterwards? I work remotely, I don't need legs anyway ๐ฅด

1/2 #Hiked all the way to the top of #BenVrackie only to discover it's *just* shy of a #munro ๐ซ
Scottish terminology lesson: A munro is a #Scottish#mountain 3,000ft or higher. "Bagging a Munro" is a popular activity here, but it takes a while to bag them all - there are 282!
Another beautiful Scottish hike!! Deuchny Hill, just outside of Perth - 764ft ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟโค๏ธโจ๏ธ
Slowly daring to climb higher and higher!! ๐ Next stop: fancy hiking shoes ๐ช

I can honestly say being AF has been the biggest life and productivity hack I've ever tried โจ๏ธ Fully realise there's no going back now, and super happy @benanderson_88 & @sharon_hartley_ came into my life when they did! Love you both! ๐

Officially comfortable calling myself "a non-drinker" after 3 years #alcoholfree! ๐ฅณ
Had my 3 year #soberversary recently, and went on a celebratory hike of Moncrieffe Hill in #Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ

Then a series of events led me to becoming friends with two BBC peeps whose passion project was an #AF podcast called Over the Influence. Their ethos was you didn't need to be alcoholic or to have "a rock bottom" in order to remove alcohol (a literal posion! ๐ ) from your life.
โ ๏ธ Aim for seats between rows 5 and 15. I've found these to be the best. No smelly toilet, usually plenty of overhead space and space under the seat in front, disembarking wait times aren't horrendous.
Hope that helps!
โ๏ธ Do not sit in the exit row unless youre tall and really need the leg room - it's a pain not having a few necessary things under the seat in front of you and having to get up and search the overhead (when the seatbelt sign is off) for whatever you forget.
