@PeterObi Dear Peter Obi, this is from a concerned Nigerian. I think you are not doing enough with regard to campaigning for the 2027 General election. A lot of voters are not on social media; they are in the street. Please do the needful.
@aleeygiwa We are getting to an era where citizens would rather be robbed than to run or call to the police for help. This is disheartening and I can't believe I stern from a society of such malignant characters. God help us all and not the police.
@aleeygiwa The police force and the constitution and the police Act stands at the top and by the pplrovision of these laws, no one is above it. But yet the police has consistently violated every provisions of the establishing law and the constitution, turning Nigeria in a jungle.
@PoliceNG@PSCNigeria Nigerians expects more from you and your officers. Banned heavy ammunitions its not necessary. Glock pistols, mental and psychological assessment are necessary.
@PoliceNG@PSCNigeria Again I reiterate on the need for a continuous legal education pioneered by lawyers vetted for this purpose only and the need for a mental and psychological assessment for every officer to ascertain whether they are fit for duty or not. This is indeed disheartening
@PoliceNG@PSCNigeria Not the regular day to day police officer who respond to calls to queries these set of officers are ordinarily entitled to a glock pistol, cuffs, spray or teasers but yet the @PoliceNG@PSCNigeria allows them to go about with heavy ammunition with even extra. For what exactly?
@PoliceNG Education for the force, this is highly recommended especially at times likes this where breach of law and order are at its brim. The police are your safety net as a citizen, rather they are even worse than the so called criminal they sought to protect l citizens from.
@PoliceNG The Nigerian police have maintained a failed position in society over the years, which includes loss of respect, ridicule, and abuse. This stems from the improper conduct of its officers, especially recruits and those who have had just six months of policing training.
@HQNigerianArmy The last time i checked the Army general in a statement mentioned that criminals are part of us and should be given a chance. That statement is unbecomimg of someone who has sworn to protect life and property. At this point, the military has failed.
Recording the Police or any law enforcement is your Constitutional Right.
On 17 March 2026, the Federal High Court sitting in Warri (Delta State) delivered an important judgment on citizensโ rights and police accountability.
If you choose to record, do so responsibly:
โข Keep a safe and reasonable distance
โข Do not obstruct or interfere with police duties
โข Remain calm and avoid confrontation
โข Clearly state you are exercising your constitutional right if questioned
