AI agents may be getting smarter, but the internet isn’t ready to let them take control.
There is a growing problem for companies building autonomous AI assistants.
These agents are supposed to browse websites, shop, book flights and complete tasks without users doing everything manually.
But major websites are increasingly blocking or restricting them.
Amazon has challenged Perplexity’s Comet browser, while banking platforms have raised security concerns about agents accessing customer accounts. Even Meta’s Muse has encountered barriers while attempting online shopping.
The problem is bigger than technical limitations.
Websites want control over their data, customer relationships, security and transactions. AI companies want their agents to operate freely on behalf of users.
Who should control the internet when AI starts using it for us: the user, the AI company or the website?
Tesla’s Shanghai factory is doing more than building cars for China. It’s becoming a major export engine.
October numbers tell an interesting story.
67,829 China-made vehicles were recorded in wholesale sales, up 10.3% year over year.
But the bigger picture is even more interesting.
Tesla shipped 810,889 vehicles from Shanghai in the first 10 months of 2026, representing 21.4% growth.
And here’s the detail worth watching: exports have become an increasingly important part of Shanghai’s output as Tesla expands its international reach.
This raises a bigger question:
Is Shanghai becoming Tesla’s most important manufacturing and export advantage in the global EV market?
My boyfriend's ex-wife has terminal cancer. Their 21-year-old son has no relationship with her, by his own choice. He knows she's sick. She's had cancer for a long time.
I visited her in the hospital and she brought him up. She said, "I'm going to force him to talk to me before I die. I don't want to die without making sure he knows that I know he loves me."
Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks that is so backwards.
Now that we’ve seen how the season played out, which fight genuinely deserves the title of BEST, and which one was the biggest disappointment? I’m talking build-up, execution and actual damage, not personal favourites. 😭
The next AI revolution may not happen on your phone, It may happen inside factories.
Foxconn, the company behind much of Apple's manufacturing, is expanding its AI ambitions.
Its chairman has confirmed that Foxconn is working on a new collaboration with OpenAI following a meeting with Sam Altman but there's another development worth watching.
Foxconn has already deployed more than 10 humanoid robots at its Texas facilities and plans to expand their use, the company is also developing robots for lifting, assembly and loading operations.
AI is moving beyond answering questions and generating images. It's beginning to take over physical tasks.
How long before human workers start competing directly with AI-powered robots?
my campsite host, Mr. Birch, has a rule that he only lends the good lantern to a couple who can "set up a tent without arguing once." he has run the same lakeside campground for twenty-three years, and i've booked the same little spot every summer for three of them, always getting a flat "quiet hours start at ten" and a dim flashlight with a flickering bulb. last month i was having such a good time on my second date with a guy named Noel that i forgot to warn him i had told him to meet me at the campground because i "just needed to check on my site." he walked in carrying a giant box with a brand-new tent, dropped it in the middle of the path, pulled out three poles at once, and said, "oh, i've got this, no instructions needed." the whole campground went quiet. Mr. Birch slowly set down his coffee, looked at the poles, looked at me, and said, "son, that's the rain flap you're holding, and you're building it upside down." Noel looked at the tangled tent, looked at me, and went "is this a campsite or a puzzle with mosquitoes??"..
Tesla just found another way to turn its customers into promoters.
The company has introduced a new FSD referral program in the US, allowing Tesla owners to invite friends and family to experience Full Self-Driving (Supervised) for free.
Here’s the interesting part:
• Your friend gets one month of FSD at no cost.
• If they subscribe during the trial, you earn one free month.
• Owners who purchased FSD outright receive $99 in Tesla Credits instead.
• You can earn up to 12 rewards per calendar year.
FSD currently costs $99 per month in the US.
Instead of spending everything on traditional advertising, Tesla is rewarding its own customers for spreading the word.
A smart customer acquisition strategy or just another way to grow FSD subscriptions?

my ski lift operator, Mr. Anders, has a rule that he only lets two people share a chair if they can "ride in silence for the first minute without checking their phones." he has run the same lift on the north slope for twenty years, and i've skied that mountain every winter weekend for three of them, always getting a flat "mind the bar" and a chair to myself. last month i was having such a good time on my second date with a guy named Simon that i forgot to warn him i had told him to meet me at the lift because i "just needed one quick run." he walked up in a brand-new jacket, hopped straight onto the loading line, and said, "oh cool, i'll just share with you." the whole line went quiet. Mr. Anders slowly leaned out of his little booth, looked at him, looked at me, and said, "son, that chair has a rule, and you just skipped the part where you asked." Simon looked at the chair swinging toward him, looked at me, and went "is this a ski lift or a courtroom with a view??"..
