Olha Taran, a senior sergeant and combat medic of Ukraine’s 36th Separate Marine Brigade, stayed in besieged Mariupol to save wounded Ukrainian soldiers under relentless Russian fire.

When her unit attempted to break out, the convoy came under heavy enemy fire. Olha ran to rescue a wounded comrade and used her own body to shield him. She was struck by shrapnel and died from her injuries.💔

On October 1, 2026, this brave woman was posthumously awarded Ukraine’s highest national honour — the title Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star.

Olha became the first female servicewoman of the Ukrainian Navy to receive this distinction.🫡

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.

Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.

Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.
