Introducing Theta: Margin and options trading terminal for Robinhood Chain.

The problem:

Robinhood Chain did a record $1.6B in DEX volume on 1 Sep, and memecoins drive a big share of it. But a memecoin pool only lets you buy or sell. You can't short it, lever it, or hedge it.

The places that do offer leverage on memes are on other chains, and they break when a position outgrows the pool. In March 2025 a single $4M JELLY short did exactly that to Hyperliquid's vault.

Liquidity is split too. The 30 biggest memes trade across Uniswap v3, Uniswap v4, Bankr, Pons and https://t.co/hCskQvswZX, so the price you get depends on which pool you happen to hit.

How to swap on Theta

What you need:
• A wallet like MetaMask, Rabby or Coinbase Wallet
• USDG on Robinhood Chain (what you pay with)
• A little ETH on Robinhood Chain for network fees (a few cents per swap)

1. Open the terminal
Go to https://t.co/3cX2SCIalz and tap "Swap now", or open the terminal and click the Spot tab at the top.
On a phone, open the site inside your wallet app's browser.

2. Connect your wallet
Click "Connect wallet" and pick your wallet. Connecting only shares your address.

3. Switch to Robinhood Chain
If your wallet is on another network, the button says "Switch to Robinhood Chain". Click it and approve. If your wallet doesn't have the chain yet, it will offer to add it.

4. Pick a token
Choose any of the 30 memecoins from the watchlist on the left. On a phone, scroll down to the watchlist, then tap Buy at the bottom of the screen.

5. Choose Buy or Sell and enter an amount
Buy: type how much USDG to spend, or tap 25%, 50%, 75% or Max.
Sell: switch to Sell and enter how many tokens to sell.
The ticket shows what you'll receive, the rate, price impact, minimum received, the route and the network fee.

6. Set your max slippage
0.5%, 1%, 3% or 5%. If the price moves more than this before the swap lands, it cancels and you only pay the network fee. 1% suits most tokens; thin tokens may need 3%.

7. Approve (first swap of a token only)
The button says "Approve USDG" (or "Approve [token]" when selling). Confirm in your wallet. It approves only the exact amount you're swapping, never unlimited.

8. Swap
The button changes to "Buy [token]" or "Sell [token]". Click it and confirm in your wallet.

9. Done
Once confirmed, you'll see what you received and a link to the transaction on Blockscout. After your first buy of a token, your wallet will offer to add it to your token list.
