lol! I am old enough to be GOX’d for a 4th time now. 🤣
Been busy working & just checked Crypto Twitter. Apparently the world has ended for $BTC & crypto. 🤷♂️
Meanwhile we have never been in a better place for $DGB development. Forget prices, let’s build an actual better future!
My followers keep telling me to look at $DGB. So I did.
Honestly? This might be one of the most undervalued Layer 1 blockchains in the entire market.
DigiByte has been running since January 2014. Over 12 years of uninterrupted operation.
No ICO. No CEO. No company controlling it.
Just open-source contributors and a community keeping the chain alive for over a decade.
That alone puts it in a rare category in crypto.
Many newer VC-backed chains have struggled to survive full market cycles. DigiByte launched with nothing and is still producing blocks. Over 23.5 million of them.
The technical stack is deeper than most people realize.
Five different mining algorithms working together to prevent any single hardware group from dominating the network.
15-second block times making it faster than Bitcoin and Litecoin for everyday transfers.
DigiAssets enabling tokenization of real-world documents, certificates, and assets directly on-chain.
Digi-ID providing passwordless authentication without storing personal data.
Core releases in 2025 and early 2026 brought Taproot support, optional encrypted P2P transport, and performance/RPC improvements.
DigiByte Core v9.26.0 release candidates are also testing DigiDollar on testnet, a proposed decentralized stablecoin backed by locked DGB collateral.
If it reaches mainnet, it could add a DeFi utility layer to a chain already built for payments, tokenization, and identity.
No hype machine. No massive marketing machine.
Just 12 years of reliable infrastructure that quietly survived every market cycle while flashier projects disappeared.
At its current valuation, $DGB trades like the market forgot it was still building. The GitHub says otherwise.
Sometimes the most undervalued assets are the ones nobody talks about.
My followers were onto something.
Which one next?
I know many people are asking about a May release for #DigiDollar, so here is a $DGB DigiDollar development update:
The #DigiSwarm AI development team 🐝 is hard at work running wave after wave of adversarial audit swarms against the DigiDollar codebase. These Red Hornet swarms are designed to attack, stress-test, and harden the code before release.
We are using multiple DigiSwarm machines running both Opus 4.7 and GPT-5.5 at max reasoning to review the protocol, wallet logic, oracle system, consensus rules, and edge cases from as many angles as possible.
So far, the Red Hornet audits have identified about a dozen issues that will be fixed in the upcoming RC33 release. They have also exposed three architectural questions that we need to think through carefully before mainnet.
We will continue running these attack swarms for several more days. The hard truth is that once DigiDollar is released, any serious issue becomes much harder to fix. So the right move is to test, test, test, and keep trying to break DigiDollar before it ever launches publicly.
With modern AI tools, it is easier than ever for attackers to search for exploits in blockchain protocols. The recent Litecoin MWEB issue is a reminder that even code that has been live for years can still reveal serious problems later.
DigiDollar is very close to being ready for a version 1.0 mainnet launch. But before we release it publicly, I believe we need to absolutely hammer it with security audits and make sure everything is smooth, secure, and backward compatible.
We now have almost 90 people in the dev chat, and I cannot thank everyone enough for helping test, develop, review, and provide feedback on DigiDollar.
We may need to delay launch by 2–4 weeks. My proposal is simple: when a majority of the developers and DigiDollar testers feel confident, we move forward. If there are serious doubts or unresolved security questions, we resolve them first.
Security comes before speed. Confidence comes before hype.
I will do a video update this Friday with more details after we have had more time to finish the Red Hornet audits.
DigiDollar is close. We just need to do this right. 🚀
🟢 Arizona is advancing SB 1649, legislation to create a Digital Assets Strategic Reserve Fund managed by the State Treasurer. This forward thinking bill explicitly recognizes DigiByte ($DGB) and Monero ($XMR), alongside Bitcoin and XRP, as a qualifying asset for the Digital Assets Strategic Reserve Fund.
$DGB Fam As much as I love wallets like Coinomi.
They have a crucial dependency. Their software has to be connected to their node and their node has to be running in order to function properly.
That has nothing to do with their security or ability to restore your keys to another platform. It's just a usability annoyance, as in sometimes, it doesn't work because it has some centralized dependencies.
Web-Wallets also work in the same way. Their convenient, quick and straightforward, but follow a central pipeline.
What I'm building interacts with the network at a protocol level. So as long as you have internet connection, you will be jacked directly into Digibyte, no middle man.
In 2026, network security isn't "one size fits all."
While Bitcoin provides the world's most robust store of value, DigiByte acts as the digital immune system with its 5-algorithm rotation. By supporting both, we aren't just mining coins, we're securing two different frontiers of the decentralized future.
Diversified hash is resilient hash. 🛡️

RevGenetics will be accepting DigiDollar soon for all it's longevity products.
This is the DigiDollar Stablecoin.
Its the only Stablecoin that does not create taxable events and is the only Stablecoin with true online verified collateral using DigiByte $DGB.
With over a year in development for micro payments and rails for ai agent transactions, it's the future of commerce.
We congratulate @jaredctate as the original founder and developer of this 12 year old block chain with its 100% uptime, speed and security.
It's scheduled to be released in May.
