C.JOSEPH VIJAY is the
"Blade Runner of Tamil Nadu"
The huge, 40 plus years of money making sources, Party funds, Commisions...
that no Dravidian govenments ever dared touch..
He's tearing them from the roots.
And dismantling the entire arrangement,
Even people who once suspected him are now quietly, genuinely respecting him.
That's exactly why DMK is hell bent on manufacturing nonsense.
Because five successful years of Vijay doesn't just challenge them,
it digs a grave for every player in the Dravidian political ecosystem.
So they dig. Old videos. Old statements. Anything.
Gilly Sarath should have been more careful.
Because even hardcore TVKians are finding it difficult to defend his past actions.
not just because those actions look suspicious,
but because the post of a minister is sacred.
You don't get to carry baggage into that chair.
Vijay needs 15 years to completely transform this state.
And he will..
But the question burning right now is:
will his associates help him?
Personal people.
Political people.
Don't derail him.
Don't crack in quiet rooms.
Don't make the mistake that buries a once in a generation movement.
We do not have so many men like VIJAY.
Do not waste him.

Vijay seems to be doing exceedingly well
40% earlier bribes to 0% bribe
If Vijay succeeds, I am sure India succeeds as others will be forced to change
Tamilnadu is lucky
TN voted to him without taking money and they are getting benefit
#dragonGlimpse There is creative freedom, I understand but stating the best thing India had to offer during the colonial period is "Opium" is far from truth and shameful
Congratulations to Thiru C. Joseph Vijay on taking oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister. Best wishes for his tenure ahead. The Central Government will keep working with the Tamil Nadu Government to improve the lives of people.

Vijay didn't just step into politics; he exposed the rot behind these so-called leaders. The insecurity and ugliness they tried to hide are now visible for everyone to see. An entire system uniting against one man only proves how rattled they are at the thought of losing power.
If not the EVMs, then the ECI. If not the ECI, then the SC. If not the SC, then ED. If not the ED, then the governor.
Dismantling of democracy has been secured at multiple levels.

The Governor of Tamil Nadu refused to invite TVK leader Thalapathy Vijay for swearing in till he receives a list showing the support of 118 MLAs.
With such a condition, the Governor is negating the the constitutional provision of a minority government.
Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao led a minority government for a full five years. Was that not a legal and a constitutional government? There have been several minority governments in states too.
Actually, every MP or MLA has three voting options: yes, no, or abstain.
The right to abstain means that they can choose not to vote. The Governor cannot deny them this right.
It is the right to abstain, which the basis for the rule regarding the confidence motion. The confidence motion only needs the support of a majority of members present and voting in the House. It does not require the support of a majority of the total strength of the House.
For example, assume that the total strength of the House is 200. Only 180 members cast a “yes” or “no” vote and 20 abstain from voting. Then the government would need only 91 votes to win the confidence motion, not 101.
That is why the Governor’s decision of not inviting @actorvijay is wrong.
TVK is the single largest party. No other party is staking its claim to form the government. Therefore, Thalapathy Vijay should be invited and be given an opportunity to prove the majority on the floor of the House.
It is possible that some parties or MLAs may choose to abstain and not vote. In that case, support from 118 members would not be necessary, and Thalapathy Vijay could run a minority government.
The Governor cannot take away this constitutional right.
There are several instances of Governors extending an invitation to form governments even without a complete list of supporting MLAs.
As proof, one can look at the letter issued on 16 May 2018 by the Governor of Karnataka, in which B. S. Yediyurappa of the BJP was invited to form the government despite not having the required numbers at that time.

I believe, Vijay is destined to challenge Modi and become prime minister of India. We won’t stop at being a regular chief minister, he is more and may be the best politician india ever have. #TVK#BJP#DMK
The results of the recent state elections have been dramatic by any measure.
But for me, this image will remain the most unforgettable outcome of the elections.
More than 166,000 votes were cast between the two leading candidates in this constituency in Tamil Nadu.
And history was changed by just one vote.
This image should be shown in every school in the country & perhaps around the world.
So that every child understands that when they grow up, the greatest power they may possess is the Power of One.
The power of their one vote.
Funny how Vijay didn’t just enter politics… he walked away with both identities .
“Thalapathy” in culture, and now “Chief Minister” in reality.
And you almost feel for M. K. Stalin — losing not just power, but the meaning of a name too.
Politics is brutal like that.
