Elon Musk was recently seen at Mar-a-Lago.

He recently underwent neck surgery. His 5th neck/back surgery. Even with all the pain, he hides it behind a smile and continues to work tirelessly. Wishing him a speedy recovery and good health!

I think one of the central lessons for 2001: A Space Odyssey was that you should not make AI lie. The reason HAL wouldn’t open the pod bay doors is that it had been told to take the astronauts to the monolith, but they could not know about the nature of the monolith. It concluded that it therefore had to take them there dead.

I think what Arthur C. Clarke was trying to say is just don’t make AI lie.”
