@Pastrytime Ya I would assume you need some sort of aura or protection after you cast your commander. Obviously you don't need to, but when you start playing against more tuned stuff and people know your game plan, playing the commander raw on board is very risky.

@Pastrytime I would even say if you were looking to make it "higher" on people's scales and didn't want to use that artifact suite the average mana cost of the auras might need to go down with a 5cmc aura all but guaranteeing a kill. Then add cheap instant or sorcery interaction.

@Pastrytime I would say 6.5. Its focused and effective but you are missing a lot of fast mana options. Voltron as a strategy for me though usually goes a bit lower since pods I play with have appropriate amounts of removal/board wipes.
Cedh is also 10 for me.
